Everest® KO
Give grass and broadleaf weeds a knockout punch
The only cereals herbicide to control both ALS-resistant Kochia and ACCase-resistant wild oats and green foxtail.
In the fight to control the onslaught of grass and broadleaf weeds, one herbicide answers the bell. EVEREST® KO knocks out the toughest weeds like ALS-resistant kochia and ACCase-resistant green foxtail and wild oats in spring and winter wheat. Based on proprietary WDG technology, the combination of flucarbazone and fluroxypyr gives you powerful cross-spectrum Flush after flush™ control, a wide range of tank mix partners and easy-to-use granular formulation makes EVEREST KO the heavyweight champ.
Everest KO – Multiple modes of action for robust grass and broadleaf control
- Control of ACCase (Group 1) resistant wild oat and green foxtail
- Control of ALS (Group 2) resistant kochia
- Flush after flush control for season-long peace of mind
- Excellent flexibility: add low-cost broadleaf herbicides (AUDIT, 2,4-D) for a customized fit
Kochia control tips:
- Be sure to spray early. Kochia is one of the first weeds to emerge in the spring.
- Kochia is usually well advanced by the time other broadleaf weeds are emerging, so take advantage of Everest KO’s wide window of application.
- Get good spray coverage. This is very important for heavy infestations of kochia.

Make your burndown work harder and longer
Pre-Pare™ Now Registered in Canada
Your wheat seedlings never had it so good.
Canadian spring wheat growers can now access a product U.S. growers have been using for years.
By
adding Pre-Pare™ burndown herbicide to glyphosate, Canadian spring
wheat growers get a longer lasting burndown that controls BOTH grassy
and broadleaf weeds. That’s the value advantage of a Pre-Pare burndown
versus other product combinations that miss grassy weeds.
Weed
competition in the first critical weeks of crop establishment can
reduce yield fast. A longer lasting burndown gives your emerging wheat
crop the chance it needs to benefit from moisture and nutrients. You’ve
invested in inputs, now you can make doubly sure they get to your
seedlings.
If you have a wild oat and green foxtail problem,
think Pre-Pare. Pre-Pare added to glyphosate works on broadleafs
including Roundup Ready® Canola* and grasses. Current products on the
market miss the residual grass component. Craig Brekkas, Arysta
LifeScience Product Manager Western Canada, says: “Pre-Pare keeps wild
oats and green foxtail from robbing valuable nutrients from an emerging
wheat crop. Vital fertilizer, nitrogen and moisture will be feeding the
wheat – not the weeds. Pre-Pare really enhances the value of a
glyphosate burndown.”
